About Sexton's Excavating & Logging LLC

A Canaan driveway can run a long way from the road, up through the trees, and in February that distance is the whole problem. Sexton's Excavating & Logging LLC handles the snow end of it — plowing lanes and drives, opening parking areas, pushing the banks back before they close a turn in too tight. Storms arrive off the plateau and keep coming, so the work runs through the night and into the blue hour before sunrise. There is something steadying about a plowed lane in the middle of a hard winter: proof that somebody was out there. Come the thaw the same ground goes quiet, and the woods drip all day.
