About Glass Landscaping

Dew first, then the smell of cut grass drifting down the shaded streets of the borough — Saturday morning in Cambridge Springs has a sound, and Glass Landscaping is part of it. The mowing is done in lines that hold, the trimmer follows the fence and the foundation, and the sidewalk gets edged until the concrete has a clean seam of its own. Beds are weeded and mulched, and the maples that roof these streets drop everything they have in October, all of which gets moved. Come back at dusk and the yard reads the way a good one should: tidy at the borders, soft in the middle, nothing shaggy at the mailbox. That is the whole ambition, repeated week after week for as long as the grass is growing.
