Armstrong Tree Service

About Armstrong Tree Service

French Creek runs high and brown through Cambridge Springs every spring, and the sycamores along it come out of winter with something to say about the season they just had. Armstrong Tree Service reads that damage and answers it — pruning out broken wood, trimming crowns back from porch roofs, taking down what wind and water have loosened past saving. The town's shaded lots hold big trees close to old houses, so removals travel down on rope, over the flower beds and the walk rather than through them. When lake-effect weather piles in from Erie and leaves limbs strewn across a yard, the cleanup is the job: gathered, chipped, gone. What is left is a street of tall trees that plainly have someone paying attention to them.
