Korb’s Lawn Care

About Korb’s Lawn Care

June evenings in California come with a river humidity that will not quit until well after dark, and the last hour of light is the right hour to cut grass. Korb's Lawn Care spends it mowing, edging and trimming yards from the flats near the water up to the streets on the hillside above. Grass grows fast along the river — all that damp air, all that bottomland — so keeping ahead of it is the whole discipline of the season. There is nothing complicated about a lawn cut in even rows with a clean line beside the sidewalk; it just looks like somebody cares, and that carries down a block. When the mower shuts off and the fireflies come up out of the hedge, the yard is done and the evening belongs to whoever lives there.
