Down to Earth Landscaping & Lawn Care

About Down to Earth Landscaping & Lawn Care

The name says it: soil first. Cabot sits where Butler County's farmland folds into hollows, and the ground tells you what it wants — clay up on the ridge, softer earth down toward the creek. Down to Earth Landscaping & Lawn Care works with that grain, mowing and trimming through the long green months so a yard reads clean from the road. Come January the work turns to plowing and shoveling the long rural driveways that wind back from the two-lane, opening them before the buses climb the hill. There is a particular satisfaction in a stretch of blacktop cleared down to its own dark surface while the fields on either side stay white. Summer or snow, it is one job seen twice: make the ground around a house easy to walk on and good to look at.
