SPL Lawn Care

About SPL Lawn Care

Butler sits in a bowl of Allegheny foothills, and nearly every one of those hills has a driveway pitched down the side of it. SPL Lawn Care works those grades all year — plow and salt when a February night leaves the county white and hushed, mower and trimmer once March lets go and the banks above Connoquenessing Creek turn improbably green. There is a plain satisfaction in a drive scraped down to blacktop before the first car leaves for work, and a quieter one in turf cut so level that the morning light lies flat across it. Keeping snow removal and lawn care under one roof means the same truck knows a property in both directions — the tight turn at the top, the soft spot near the culvert. Butler and the boroughs and townships around it make up the whole map.
