About By His Stripes General Services

Summer in western Pennsylvania arrives thick and green, and the grass in Burrell grows faster than anyone expects. By His Stripes General Services keeps ahead of it — a steady rotation of mowing, string trimming along fence lines and foundations, edges cut where turf wants to creep over the concrete. Late in the day, when the heat lifts off the hillsides and the swallows come out over the creek bottoms, a freshly cut lawn is one of the plain pleasures of a Burrell evening. Fall turns the work over to leaves, cleared out of beds and corners before the rain packs them down. The stripes left behind on a mowed yard are the whole point.
