About Busy Bee Garden and Pest Services

Brogue sits back in the York County river hills, where roads bend around old orchards and by June every yard has honeysuckle running wild along the hedge. Busy Bee Garden and Pest Services mows and tidies the yards back there, taking down the tall stuff along fence lines and ditch banks, and clearing beds back to a defined line. Humidity rolling up from the Susquehanna makes grass grow like it is being paid to, so a steady weekly pass is the only thing that stays ahead of it. Bed edges, walk edges and the strip around the mailbox get the last few minutes, which is where a yard stops looking mowed and starts looking kept. Looking back from the truck at a place that finally sits right is the good part of the day.
