About BBM Excavating

South of Brodheadsville the long wall of Blue Mountain runs across the horizon, and the Pocono plateau behind it holds cold the way stone holds it. BBM Excavating takes on snow removal in that country — plowing driveways and lots, clearing walkways, breaking open the packed berm a passing road plow leaves behind. Squalls arrive fast up here, an hour of white and then sun, and a stretch of Route 209 can be clear while the back roads are anything but. The payoff is simple and physical: pavement showing again, a lane wide enough to turn around in, someone getting where they need to go. Pohopoco Creek gathers in these hills from the same snow, once it finally decides to leave.
