Leaf & Stone Co

About Leaf & Stone Co

The old farmhouses out this way are sandstone and limestone, with lawns rolling off them in every direction, and by mid-October the yard is more color than green. Leaf & Stone Co gets ahead of that across Brecknock Township, mowing while growth lasts and then turning to the leaf work: blown out of the bed lines, off the stone walks, away from the foundation before rain mats it down. A lawn put to bed properly comes back green weeks earlier, so autumn is less an ending here than a setup. Bed edges get recut before winter, one dark line holding the mulch where it belongs. The final pass of the year leaves a yard that looks like somebody meant it.
