About Hartzell Home & Garden Services, LLC

Biglerville in January is orchard country stripped to its bones — row after row of bare apple trees running up toward South Mountain, with the snow laying itself down between them in long white aisles. Hartzell Home & Garden Services, LLC plows through it, opening driveways, farm lanes and packing-house lots while the storm is still on, then coming back to widen and square the edges. Ice melt is worked into the walks, the steps and the shaded stretch of drive that stays slick a full day longer than the rest. Ridge wind will refill a lane by morning, so the second pass is part of the work rather than a favor. Nothing looks better at sunrise than a cleared lane running straight out through snowed-in orchard rows.
