About LJ's Lawn Services LLC

July storms arrive fast here — twenty loud minutes, the ball fields at the township park under sheet water, and by morning every yard has grown another inch. LJ's Lawn Services LLC works around weather like that: the rained-out day made up later in the week, the heavy wet grass cut slower so it does not clump, the whole route put back in order by Saturday. Mowing, string trimming and edging, with the walks and driveways cleared before the truck moves on. A Bethlehem Township summer is a long argument between rain and heat, and a lawn that stays sharp through it does not stay that way by accident. By the cooler weeks the grass settles down, and the yards look like they have been waiting all season to be noticed.
