About H&C Landscaping and Home Services

The old blast furnaces stand over the south side of Bethlehem, rust-red against a September sky, and the light coming off them at six in the evening turns every lawn below a shade warmer. H&C Landscaping and Home Services works those blocks and the neighborhoods that fan out from the Hill-to-Hill Bridge — mowing on a set rotation, trimming tight around stoops, meters and iron railings, running the edge along the walk to a straight line. City yards are small, so precision is the entire job; a missed corner is the only thing anybody sees. Shrubs are cut back from the front door, beds refreshed with mulch, and autumn's leaves pulled off the grass before they mat. Row by row the street looks looked-after, and that is the result worth chasing.
