About Freedom Lawn Care & Landscaping

On the north side the Monocacy runs cold and clear past Illick's Mill, and the streets stepping back from it are a grid of tight, square lawns under big shade trees. Freedom Lawn Care & Landscaping keeps that grid on schedule — mowing front and back, edging the sidewalk and the curb strip, trimming around the porch, the pole and the pair of hydrangeas by the steps. Spring here goes from bare to knee-high in about ten days, so the first cuts come early and often until the growth settles down. Beds are spaded, mulched and weeded, and shrubs are held back off the walk so two people can pass. Every visit ends with the concrete swept clean, which neighbors notice even when they never say so.
