Fine Cut Lawn Care

About Fine Cut Lawn Care

South Mountain rises straight off Bethlehem's south side, and the yards that climb it are terraced, shaded and steep enough to make a mower an argument. Fine Cut Lawn Care takes them on anyway — walking the pitches, cutting across the slope in even lines, and trimming out the retaining walls, stair treads and the roots that surface under the old oaks. In the deep shade the grass is thin and slow, so it is cut high and left long enough to hold; out in the sun toward the Saucon side it wants a visit every week all July. Hedges are squared, bed lines re-cut, and the hillside leaf fall handled in stages rather than all in one afternoon. A tidy sloped yard is a small feat of stubbornness, and it looks like one.
