About Barbary Tree Service LLC

Bethel lies under the long green wall of the Blue Mountain, farm fields running up to the ridge where the hawks ride the September wind south. Out here trees stand where a farmer left them — a hedgerow oak, a walnut over a barn ramp, a maple shading a farmhouse that has needed it for a long time. Removal in open country is straightforward until it is not, and the ones near buildings get roped and lowered rather than dropped. Pruning and trimming take out dead limbs, lift the canopy off the roofs, and give a hedgerow tree back a shape it can hold. When a summer storm runs the ridge and drops half a tree across a lane, cleanup opens the lane and carries the wood off with it.
