Blake's Lawn & Snow Removal

About Blake's Lawn & Snow Removal

There is a November evening here when the ridgeline goes copper and the first flakes cross the headlights along the Benner Pike — the day the year changes hands. Blake's Lawn & Snow Removal works both sides of that handoff: mowing, trimming, edging and leaf cleanup while the grass still grows, then plowing, shoveling and salting once the ground turns hard. A driveway mowed all summer is a driveway opened at five in the morning in January, and knowing each one — the pitch, the culvert, the corner where snow always sets up — is most of the job. Spring brings the mower back out to clean up whatever winter left behind. Two trades, one township, twelve months.
