Rob's Lawn Maintenance

About Rob's Lawn Maintenance

The Raystown Branch cuts through the Narrows just north of Bedford, and the ridges on either side settle most of what the weather here is going to do. Rob's Lawn Maintenance takes the year as it comes off those mountains: cutting, trimming and edging through the green months, raking and hauling out the fall, then plowing drives and lots, opening walkways and laying salt through the cold. Snow reaches the ridge first and the valley floor an hour later, which is a useful thing to know when you are planning a night's route. There is a specific quiet in a driveway finished at daybreak — engine off, breath showing, the pavement dark again. Then on to the next one, all the way through until the grass starts asking.
