About J F Harclerode Sales & Services

West of town, Wills Mountain throws its shadow across the fields by late afternoon, and the lawns out along the Lincoln Highway hold their heat until the sun clears the ridge. J F Harclerode Sales & Services mows through that stretch of the day — long open yards where a wide deck can stretch out, then the close work by hand around porch steps, mailboxes, propane tanks and fence corners. Grass here grows in bursts after a Dunning's Creek rain, so the cut is timed to the weather rather than the calendar. Blades stay sharp, because a clean cut heals and a torn one browns by Thursday. What is left behind is a level, striped yard that reads well from the road all the way down the valley.
