Taylor's Lawn Service

About Taylor's Lawn Service

Early spring mornings around Georgetown come in with mist sitting on the low ground and the first green showing along the Pequea headwaters. Taylor's Lawn Service opens the season there — the first cut, the beds cleared of winter, the walks blown clean — then holds that rhythm every week until frost. Village lots and township properties get the same treatment: mowing, trimming, edging, and a fall cleanup that leaves nothing under the hedges. Weather here can drop two inches of rain and then dry out for a month, so the cutting schedule bends to what the grass is actually doing. There is something plainly satisfying about the smell of the first cut of the year in Bart Township.
