About Craig Wickett Tree Work

February in this old quarry town keeps a trick in its pocket: a bright afternoon of melt, then a night that hardens every runnel into glass. Craig Wickett Tree Work reads that forecast and gets out ahead of it — plowing the drives, clearing walks and entries down to the surface, and putting salt where meltwater always runs back across the concrete. Snow is the straightforward part; it is the refreeze that catches people at the bottom of the porch steps. A driveway opened clean before daylight and gritted at the low corner is a quiet kind of care for a neighbor. It looks like nothing happened at all, which is exactly right.
