About Raibeck Industries Inc

Winter comes to Auburn over the top of Blue Mountain — squall lines that can white out Route 61 in twenty minutes and leave the valley floor drifted before supper. Raibeck Industries Inc runs snow removal through it: plowing driveways and lots, clearing walks and doorways by hand, salting and de-icing where wind-packed snow turns to glass overnight. Schuylkill County storms rarely arrive once and finish, so routes get run again while it is still falling instead of waiting on a clean total. Salt goes down ahead of the freeze rather than after, which is what keeps a driveway usable at five in the morning. There is real satisfaction in the sound of an apron scraped down to bare pavement while it is still dark out.
