Highland Lawnscapes

About Highland Lawnscapes

Up on the ridges above Athens the wind comes down off the New York line with nothing in its path, and the snow it carries finds every driveway facing north. Highland Lawnscapes plows those grades and the flatter routes below toward Sayre and Waverly, opening drives, clearing walks, laying salt where a slope would otherwise turn dangerous. In the green half of the year those same properties want mowing and trimming, edges held, beds cleaned out in spring and again once the leaves come down. Hill ground makes for handsome lawns and awkward mowing, and getting it right takes patience with the pitch. The payoff is a hillside yard cut level, clean to its borders, looking out across the whole valley.
