About McGovern Lawn Service LLC

Three in the morning, February, and the only light on Dutton Mill Road is the amber wash of a plow lamp swinging across new snow. McGovern Lawn Service LLC works Aston Township in that hour so the rest of it can wake to a driveway already open and a walk already down to blacktop. Come May the same roads look nothing alike — green everywhere, mowers running, edges pulled tight along the curbs. Delaware County asks a property to be two different things in a year, and both of them ask for upkeep. Plowing, salting, mowing, trimming, the autumn haul of leaves: one long circle rather than two separate jobs. What stays constant is standing back at the end of a stop and finding nothing left to fix.
