Fahey's Lawn Service

About Fahey's Lawn Service

October along Business Route 6 through Archbald is a two-week spectacle and then a month of raking, as the maples that line the old road let everything go at once. Fahey's Lawn Service spends that season moving leaves off lawns before they smother the turf, cutting the grass shorter as growth slows, and clearing beds down for the cold. The rest of the year it is the steady rhythm of mowing, trimming and edging that keeps a property looking like somebody is paying attention. Yards here are often narrow and deep, running back from the street toward the old rail alignment, and every one of them has its own corners to learn. Getting them right, week after week, is the quiet part of the work worth doing well.
