About Dave's Lawn Care & Small Engn

Late-August light along Roaring Run turns gold about an hour before it quits, and that is prime mowing weather in Apollo. Dave's Lawn Care & Small Engn keeps the flat ground near the trail and the yards out toward Route 66 on a rhythm the grass can count on. A cut here is more than a cut: the trimmer goes around every post, hydrant and fence line, the blower sends clippings back into the turf instead of out onto the street, and the line along the drive comes up clean enough to run a finger down. In November the valley hardwoods drop everything in about a week, and the cleanup runs from bed to curb. In April the beds get opened up again. Apollo's yards are small enough that details show, which is exactly why the details get done.
