The Quittapahilla runs right through Annville, and the ground near it stays soft and green longer than anywhere else in the valley. Green Giant Landscape mows and maintains yards on both sides of the creek — a cut held to schedule, walks and drives edged to a clean line, trimming tight around porches and the old shade trees on the side streets. Beds are cleared and mulched once spring commits to it, and hedges are shaped before they swallow a window. Through autumn the leaves are pushed off in one long weekly effort until the lawns go into winter even and bare. Lebanon Valley ground grows a good lawn; this is the part that keeps it looking like one.
