About Syron, Co.

Trains run the corridor past Cornwells Heights all night, and in a snowstorm their headlights come through the flakes like something out of a story. Syron, Co. keeps Andalusia moving underneath all that — plowing drives and lots, clearing steps and sidewalks, spreading salt before a packed layer has any chance to set. The blocks here sit tight to the street, so a plow has to be thoughtful about where the banks end up. Work begins while the storm is still building and does not stop until the last pass comes out clean. Nothing about it is glamorous; a driveway you can back out of at six a.m. is its own good news.
