About David Lahr's Services

Snow arrives in Amity Township from the open west, and it drifts across the farm lanes long before it ever reaches the blacktop. David Lahr's Services runs the plow through those dark hours, breaking a path down driveways that curve out of sight and pushing the banks back far enough to matter. Salt goes on the steep spots, the walks, the aprons where a car has to stop and start again. By the time headlights are moving toward Route 422, the worst of it has already been dealt with. Winter in Berks County asks for somebody up early, and that is the entire job.
