5 STAR Land Services

About 5 STAR Land Services

Monocacy Hill stands over Amity Township like a dark green shoulder, and the first snow of the year usually finds it before it finds the valley floor. 5 STAR Land Services works the hours nobody else wants — the two a.m. push, the second pass at five, salt going down while the sky is still the color of slate. Driveways here run long and often uphill, and a job done right means a car rolls out toward Route 422 without a single hesitation. The crew clears walks, aprons and lots across the township and keeps at it until the last flake has quit. There is real satisfaction in a plowed drive at sunrise, its edges square, its blacktop showing through.
