NGI Landscaping and Lawn Service

About NGI Landscaping and Lawn Service

Spring reaches Ambridge early along the river, and the old Harmonist garden at Economy Village greens up while the hills behind town are still bare. NGI Landscaping and Lawn Service opens its year right about then — first cuts, trimming, edging the walks, hauling out whatever winter left on the grass and in the beds. Through summer the mowing runs on a set rotation; through fall it is leaves, steady and unending, off lawns and off sidewalks. Winter shifts the whole operation over to snow: plowing, opening walks and steps, salting the spots that ice first. A town this compact rewards knowing every driveway by sight, and the routes run one into the next.
