About Pennview Landscaping

From the ledges at Chimney Rocks, Altoona lies out below in rooftops and rail lines and small green squares, and every one of those squares belongs to somebody. Pennview Landscaping works down inside that patchwork, one lawn at a time — cutting, edging, and trimming in close to fence posts and porch steps where a machine has to slow down and a person has to look. Spring arrives late in the Logan Valley and then all at once; the first pass of the year is half haircut, half wake-up call. By the second visit the color has evened out and the lines run true to the walk. Seen back from the ridge, that is one more bright square where somebody cared.
