Legendary Lawns

About Legendary Lawns

A well-cut lawn has stripes in it, and in June along the boulevards of Altoona you can spot the ones that got a real pass — light and dark bands running the length of the yard, holding until the next mow. Legendary Lawns chases that look on purpose: consistent cutting height, passes laid out to suit the lot, trimming that finishes what the deck cannot reach, edging that gives the walk a hard clean line. Blair County grass surges after a June storm and then coasts through the dry weeks, so the timing shifts to keep the color even. Clippings come off the concrete before the truck leaves, because the finish is part of the cut. Around the city, the yards end up looking like a ballfield's little cousin.
