About Delozier's Mulch Yard & Statuaries

There is a particular smell to a spring morning in Blair County — wet cedar, turned bark, cold stone warming up — and Delozier's Mulch Yard & Statuaries carries it out to the yards it tends. Beds get refreshed and given a clean cut edge, lawns get mowed on a dependable turn, and the trimmer takes the borders where grass tries to climb into the planting. Altoona sits in a bowl between ridges, so a bed that is neat in May keeps its shape all the way to the leaf drop if somebody minds it. When the valley goes over to winter, the routes turn to plowing driveways, clearing walks and salting what freezes hardest overnight. It is the same properties, the same care, just a different set of tools on the truck.
