About J.R. Tree & Landscaping Services

Down in the Antietam valley the ground stays shaded most of the day, hemlock and oak leaning out over the creek as it runs toward the lake. Grass in that kind of light grows thin and slow, and it wants a different approach than an open field would. J.R. Tree & Landscaping Services mows and trims to suit it — a taller cut under the canopy, close work around roots and stone, edges kept honest along the drive. Autumn is the long haul in this corner of Berks County, leaves coming down for six straight weeks over turf that needs clearing before it smothers. When the last pass is finished and the lawn shows green again beneath bare branches, the season has been handled.
