About Western Lehigh Services, Inc

Out past Orefield the farm roads run open between hedgerows, and a west wind will move the same snow across them three separate times in one night. Western Lehigh Services, Inc handles that country in winter, plowing long rural drives, cutting through the drifts that build behind every windbreak and salting what the sun never reaches. Dusk is when it usually starts, the fields going blue and the first plume lifting off a bare hill. Country plowing is a different discipline from city plowing, more distance, more wind, and a driveway that has to be opened all the way to the road. When it is done right, a place three miles from anywhere is not cut off at all.
