Preferred Lawn & Landscaping

About Preferred Lawn & Landscaping

Old Allentown wakes slowly: brick fronts, wrought-iron rails, a stoop swept clean before the traffic picks up on Linden Street. Preferred Lawn & Landscaping fits its work into that rhythm, mowing and trimming the pocket lawns and side gardens of the historic blocks, then clearing the same walks when snow closes them in. Older streets ask for a lighter hand, careful around the stone curbing and the tree pits, and the edge along a nineteenth-century sidewalk is worth cutting clean. In December the job flips to salt and shovel and a plowed apron behind the row. Two seasons, one street, kept in the same good order.
