About Manny's Lawn & Tree Service

Late afternoon in the West End, the old sycamores throw long shade over brick sidewalks, and the grass underneath grows thin and stubborn in a way only shade grass does. Manny's Lawn & Tree Service works those blocks, cutting and trimming around root flares and iron fence posts where a wide machine will never fit. In February the same shade turns into a north-facing walk that keeps its ice past noon, and out come the shovels and the salt. Small properties reward patience more than horsepower, and a hand-finished edge along a hundred-year-old sidewalk shows it. Allentown's shaded streets are their own kind of yard, and they get their own kind of attention.
