About American Snow and Ice Solutions

Weather comes into the Lehigh Valley over Blue Mountain, and Allentown usually knows an hour before the first flake reaches the street. American Snow and Ice Solutions spends that hour putting down salt, then runs the plows as the storm builds over Hamilton Street and the neighborhoods sloping east to the river. Lots get cut open in passes, piles pushed to the far corners, curb lines chased back so the next storm has somewhere to go. Walks, steps and entryways are shoveled and treated, because that is where a winter morning is actually won. Dawn over the Lehigh with everything open and dry is a good thing to drive past.
