About Landscapes & More

West of town the country loosens into woods and creek bottoms, and Raccoon Creek runs cool under the hemlocks while the ridges above it bake in the July sun. Landscapes & More works that seam between mown ground and wild ground — mowing, trimming, edging, and clearing the brushy margins where a yard gives way to trees. At midday in high summer the air stands still and for a long stretch the only sound is a string trimmer working a fence line. Winter reverses the whole picture: the same properties, the same long driveways, now needing a blade and a shovel before anyone gets out. A cleared lane through fresh snow, banked neat on both sides, is its own small piece of engineering.
