Alan & Nate's Lawn Care

About Alan & Nate's Lawn Care

By late afternoon the light in Aliquippa turns the color of an old penny, sliding down Franklin Avenue and catching in the storefront glass. That is a good hour for the last cut of the day, when the heat lets go and the clippings smell sweet. Alan & Nate's Lawn Care keeps yards mown, trimmed and tidied around town, then trades the mower deck for a plow blade once the valley goes white and the hills get slick. Two names on a truck sets the pace of the work: one on the machine, one on the edges, and a straight seam left down the middle of the yard. Grass or snow, the aim is the same — a place that looks cared for from the sidewalk.
