About A.L.A. Lawn Care, LLC

In Abbottstown the road bends around the circle where Route 30 meets Route 194, and a block later the borough gives way to open Adams County ground again. A.L.A. Lawn Care, LLC works both halves of that line — mowing, trimming and edging the borough lawns through the long green middle of the year, then plowing and salting those same drives once the fields go white. Winter mornings begin in the dark, headlights full of falling snow, so a driveway is open and a walk is gritted before anybody has to think about it. Come June the reward is simpler: a clean edge along the sidewalk, clippings swept off the concrete, the grass laid down in even passes. Fog lifts off the Conewago in the low places and the day gets on with itself. It is ordinary work on streets they know by heart.
