About Cushing Concepts

Graham Oaks Nature Park holds a piece of the old savanna on Wilsonville's west side, white oaks standing in open grass, and it is a shape worth borrowing. Cushing Concepts carries that idea into ordinary yards: bed lines drawn with intent, lawn kept open and even, plantings tended so each one has room to be seen. The upkeep is steady enough on its own, with mowing, edging, pruning and weeding on rotation, but the eye behind it stays on the whole composition. Spring arrives here in soft increments, and a yard shaped early holds that shape all the way into August. A good ground plan, kept up, is what turns a lot into a place.
