About Pacific Aqua Gardens LLC

There is something contrary and wonderful about water in a dry country, and The Dalles — basalt rimrock, sage hills, the great flat sheet of the Columbia below — is exactly that kind of place. Pacific Aqua Gardens LLC keeps the green side of it running: lawns mowed and edged on a schedule, irrigated turf watched closely through the hot months, ponds and water features tended, beds weeded and shaped. October is the telling season for this work, with leaves lifted out of the water, systems readied before the first hard freeze comes down the Gorge, and the grass given its last clean cut of the year. Handled well, a yard here feels like an oasis rather than an argument with the climate. The Dalles and the Wasco County towns around it make up the territory.
