About liberty landscape maintenance

Rain is the Umpqua Valley's winter work, and it turns Sutherlin a shade of green you will not find here in August. liberty landscape maintenance reads that calendar closely — beds cut back and mulched while the soil is still soft, shrubs shaped before the growth surge, the mowing round stepping up as March warms the vineyard rows east of town. There is a plain satisfaction in a border with a crisp cut edge, a hedge with its outline restored, a lawn that looks deliberate from the road. From Sutherlin out through Oakland and down toward Roseburg, the work is the steady, unglamorous business of keeping ground cared for, and of leaving each place better looking than it was that morning.
