About Alexander's Landscape & More

Fog comes up off the Columbia early in St. Helens and settles into the low yards until the sun finally clears the bluff. Alexander's Landscape & More starts work in that gray hour, when the grass is still heavy with wet and every pass of the mower leaves a dark line behind the wheels. Mowing, edging, string trimming, bed weeding, planting and seasonal cleanups — the list is plain, and the pride is in what the block looks like at noon once the haze has burned off. Driveways and walkways get a cut edge you can run a finger along, and the clippings go back into the turf instead of out into the street. By the time the river goes bright, a whole row of houses looks tended.
