About Sharky's Lawn Care LLC

Late afternoon on the east side of town, the light drops over the Thurston hills and lays itself flat across every lawn between there and the Mohawk. That is Sharky's Lawn Care LLC's favorite hour to finish, when the last pass of the mower catches the low sun and the stripes come up like grain in wood. September in this valley is dry and dusty and the grass wants patience; by November it is green again and growing hard in the rain, which is a different puzzle altogether. The work is mowing, string trimming around fence lines and mailbox posts, edging the walks, and clearing what falls. A yard held to a schedule stops being a chore and starts being something you are glad to pull into. Springfield is a town of long straight blocks and deep back lots, and there is room in all of them to do the job properly.
