About L&A Landscape LLC

The old Booth-Kelly buildings still stand along the mill race, a reminder that Springfield grew up around what the forests sent down the river. L&A Landscape LLC brings some of that material back into the yard — fresh bark in the beds, shrubs pruned to shape, borders edged clean where lawn gives way to planting. Weekly mowing, trimming and edging carry the turf, and cleanups pull the season's fall out of the beds. A yard reads best when the lines between grass, bark and walkway have all been decided, and holding those lines is most of the job. In late winter, with the bark laid dark and the shrubs cut back, a plain front yard suddenly has shape again.
