About Brothers Bears Lawn Care LLC

Come March the Willamette runs full and cold past Clearwater Park, and every lawn in Springfield wakes up mossy from a winter of rain. Brothers Bears Lawn Care LLC starts the year in that mess — raking out thatch, treating moss, aerating the packed valley clay, then overseeding so the thin places fill in before the dry months arrive. From there it settles into weekly mowing, trimming and edging, with beds weeded as they green up. Two brothers on one lawn move quickly, one cutting and one on the line trimmer, and the yard is finished before the next shower blows through. There is a particular pleasure in watching a yard that was half moss in February hold solid green by May.
