Brian's Lawn Care

About Brian's Lawn Care

East of 58th the streets tilt uphill toward the Thurston Hills, and in August the evening light comes in low and sideways across every lawn at once. Brian's Lawn Care takes those slopes on a weekly rhythm — mowing, trimming around mailbox posts and rock walls, edging the driveway aprons that bake all afternoon. Shrubs get cut back off the windows and the summer's dry debris is pulled out of the beds. On a hillside yard the mowing lines fan rather than run straight, and getting them to read evenly from the street below is its own kind of satisfaction. By dusk the trimmer is quiet and the block smells like cut grass and warm asphalt.
